Every year, we are humbled and impressed by all of the ways in which our au pairs give back to their American host communities through volunteer work. We celebrate the contributions of these au pairs through our annual Community Service Awards, the winners of which we have just announced. Please join us in congratulating all of our contest winners!
1st Place: Anna from Poland
Ann is a Polish au pair living in Virginia. She volunteered in several capacities, such as helping to prepare tax returns for low income populations and organizing outings for local international residents. Read more.
2nd Place: Luisa from Brazil
Luisa, a Brazilian au pair living in Connecticut and an avid sports lover, devoted many hours to assisting her local Special Olympics basketball team. Read more.
3rd Place: Mara from Italy
An Italian au pair living in California, Mara helped to organize fundraisers for the Cystic Fibrosis Association in honor of one of her host children, who lives with this condition. Read more.
